INTRODUCTION
Mrs. AG doesn’t normally decorate home interiors for clients – interior decorators can decorate interiors, for better or worse. You can pick out your own comforters, cabinets, carpets, and colors.
The Missus does engage interior (and exterior) home designing at finishing levels with clients, from time to time. That is to say, The Missus can guide clients in thoughtful, experienced, gifted ways of designing your home interiors; she doesn't shop with you to find pieces.
Here is a sampling of her home designer interior thoughts and work.
WHAT TO DO, HOW TO DO IT
Interior Design Mistakes 11 ways to wreck an interior home design, especially if you're selling or have a design itch you can't scratch where you're living now.
Coffered Ceilings AG and The Missus have studied, designed, and built coffered ceilings in their years of home designing and home building – and wanted to share.
Decorative Tiled Floor Masonry finish flooring can keep on giving – a high-end look, safety, convenience, and durability.
Decorative Wall Tiling Most folks paint walls. A few panel walls – partly, as in wainscot; fully, as in judge’s paneling. Almost no one tiles walls, except in baths. Almost.
Fanciful Trim Greek arches, brackets, mullions, and pilasters.
Mixing apparent structure and whimsy can work wonders for your home interior designing.Monochrome The rage. The rage. Long live monochrome? Phooey. In her home interior design book, 'monochrome' embraces not only color but also decorative elements - eclectic design in a home interior is quintessential American.
Tapestry Gotta a big, bare wall?
